Great Bit of Oregon History
This video begins with a detailed description of the actual light and it's mechanics then expands from there. I will never take the old light house lights for granted again. There are lots of interesting old pictures both inside and out of the light house and the light house keepers house. Pictures and names of many of the residents and locals and info on some of their noteworthy accomplishments. Little known facts and photos detailing some of the aspects of their lives in the early 1900's. There is also discussion and more old photos depicting several other areas of life back in the day. Besides the horse and buggy pictures, I enjoyed seeing photos of early construction equipment and the discussion of the trials and tribulations of travel in the area one hundred years ago. Having previously lived in Oregon I also really enjoyed seeing the places I used to know.
